Too much rain: Arrival at camping at Nature One stopped
Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the Nature One techno festival in Hunsrück this weekend. But the weather is not playing along – at least not on the journey there.
After heavy rains, campers at the techno festival Nature One in the Hunsrück is no longer available. The organizer announced on Friday morning that it is no longer possible to travel to the campsite. “The areas are too wet and the access roads cannot be repaired sufficiently in the short term, even with excavators and gravel.”
“It breaks our hearts, but for the first time in the 29th year we have to accept defeat by the weather for the further camping journey,” said Oliver Vordemvenne from the organizer I-Motion, according to the statement. However, the journey to the actual festival is not affected.
On the festival’s Instagram page, the organizer writes that the last vehicles on site are still being brought onto the site. Anyone who cannot get to Nature One because of the stop will receive a full refund for their festival and camping ticket.
The techno festival takes place this weekend at the former US missile station Pydna in the Hunsrück.
