Also this year there was a live edition of the popular podcast “Fest & Flauschig” by Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz. An immense amount of donations was collected in the process.
The so-called “Laberpodcast” by Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz called “Fest & Flauschig” has been around for five years now. Every Sunday the two entertainers amuse their fans by commenting on current events, telling anecdotes from their lives or just fooling around. Now a shorter episode called “Boomer Cringe” comes out every Wednesday.
The “Christmas Circus” took place again this year
The Christmas edition of the two, like the Sunday edition, is now a firm tradition. And so the two of them streamed their “Christmas Circus” live from Berlin on December 16, under the motto “Fest & Fluschig Live – Heavenly Booster Festival” – and as always for a good cause.
As is customary at Christmas, Schulz and Böhmi collected donations for selected charity organizations as part of the live Christmas circus. In a festive mood, the two chatted solemnly and dedicated their special edition to their popular podcast sections. You can listen to the whole thing retrospectively from December 19th on Spotify.
Schulz and Böhmermann collected 600,000 euros
Last year the live edition of “Fest & Flauschig” raised an impressive 296,365 euros in donations – and that was even topped this year. More than 600,000 euros have been collected from a total of 12,000 donors so far.
For this purpose, the two chose two institutions each to benefit from the donations: Böhmermann, the “Foundation for University Medicine of the Dresden University Hospital” and “Wir packen’s an eV – Emergency Aid for Refugees”. Meanwhile, Olli Schulz would like to donate to the “Kinder-Hospiz Sternenbrücke” and “Der Wünschewagen”.
