Feminist artist Ewa Partum is honored in Regensburg – Munich

Ewa Partum has never shied away from provocations, and has never spared herself. For the Polish conceptual artist, art and reality are inseparable. In 1979, she declared her body a work of art to protest against patriarchal structures and to tell of specifically female experiences. For years, she only performed naked, and her body became an icon of feminist art.
