You really can’t say that Karlsruhe’s yes to compulsory vaccination for nursing and hospital staff came as a surprise. The Federal Constitutional Court has followed a cautious course towards the Corona measures throughout the pandemic, just think of the decisions on the federal emergency brake and curfew. And after the court had temporarily approved the partial vaccination requirement in an urgent decision in February, it was clear: There was no veto from Karlsruhe.
