According to Leonardo Bittencourt, games against FC Bayern Munich under Pep Guardiola were no fun. He waited in vain for a victory.
Leonardo Bittencourt has stated that games against FC Bayern Munich under Pep Guardiola weren’t too much of a reason for joy for the opponent.
“It wasn’t fun, it was really nasty,” said Bittencourt in an interview with the kicker about the games against FC Bayern, coached by Pep Guardiola, in the Bundesliga.
At that time he also didn’t like going to Munich. “You felt like you were wearing running shoes – because you simply didn’t touch the ball. I knew: You don’t get a ball, no space – everything they do works,” explained Bittencourt, who is now in the 2nd division for Werder Bremen runs up.
No win against Guardiola
Bittencourt met four times in the Bundesliga with Hannover 96 and once with 1. FC Köln on Peps Bayern and had to admit defeat all five times.
