Coach Julian Nagelsmann from FC Bayern Munich tested positive for the corona virus despite a full vaccination. The record champions announced this on Thursday morning.
The 34-year-old will return to Munich with an ambulance pilot separated from the team from Lisbon and will go into domestic isolation.
Nagelsmann had missed yesterday’s Champions League game at Benfica (4-0) due to flu symptoms and was represented on the sidelines by his assistant coaches Dino Toppmöller and Xaver Zembrod.
