FC Bayern, Coman: FC Bayern has extended the contract with offensive player Kingsley Coman prematurely by four years until the summer of 2027. This was announced by the German record champions on Wednesday. The Munich team had loaned the Frenchman from Juventus Turin for two years in the summer of 2015 and then signed a permanent contract. Coman’s previous contract with the Herbstmeister was dated June 30, 2023.
The negotiations between FC Bayern and the winning goal scorer of the premier class final of 2020 had dragged on because of different salary expectations. “Clubs all over the world are looking for players with the skills of Kingsley Coman. This contract extension is yet another example of how attractive our club is on an international top level. Kingsley identifies fully with FC Bayern, he has found his sporting home here.” said Munich’s chief executive Oliver Kahn about the 25-year-old national player.
Biathlon, Kühn: Germany’s currently best biathlete Johannes Kühn has tested positive for the corona virus and will miss the home World Cup in Ruhpolding at short notice. The German Ski Association announced on Wednesday. All other additional PCR tests carried out on the members of the German team were negative in Bavaria. Kühn, who is tenth in the overall World Cup, had to go into isolation. As the world association IBU announced, contacts are being followed up by the local health authorities. A decision on a quarantine is therefore still pending.
Actually, Kühn should have competed in the sprint in the Chiemgau Alps on Thursday (2.30 p.m. / ZDF and Eurosport).
