Justin Bieber himself describes the collection with his likeness as “garbage”. The fashion group H&M reacts to this and takes the products out of sale.

After criticism from pop star Justin Bieber (28, “Sorry”), the Swedish fashion group H&M has withdrawn a collection with images of the musician. Proper approval procedures were followed, but the garments were withdrawn from sale “out of respect for the collaboration and for Justin Bieber,” the company said on Wednesday when asked by dpa. The products were no longer available in the fashion giant’s online shop.

Bieber previously advised his fans via Instagram not to buy the said products from H&M, calling them “garbage”. He had not given permission or consent to the collection, he wrote in his Instagram story. The products included sweaters, T-shirts and a shopping bag with the Canadian’s likeness.
