The body of a 55-year-old man was discovered on Thursday in his caravan in Epinal, in the Vosges, with a gunshot wound to the head. It was his wife who discovered his body around 5:30 in the morning. The victim, according to information reported by the newspaper Vosges Morningwas a fairground worker who ran an airsoft shooting range. He had set up in Epinal for the Saint-Maurice festival, a fairground event that was due to start this Saturday. “For the time being, all hypotheses are possible. That is why I have opened an investigation to find out the causes of death,” declared the public prosecutor of Epinal, Frédéric Nahon, reports the regional daily.
An autopsy will take place on Friday.
