Fabian Hambüchen proposed to his girlfriend Viktoria Feldbusch on the sandy beach in the Maldives during a sunset.
Former gymnast Fabian Hambüchen (34) is engaged. In the Maldives he made a romantic proposal to his girlfriend Viktoria Feldbusch (30) on the sandy beach. He confirmed this to the magazine “colorful” in a statement. Accordingly, the athlete even got on his knees at sunset.
“A Magical Moment”
“In the evening at sunset on the white sandy beach with a glass of champagne in hand,” Hambüchen describes the scene.” Feldbusch was completely surprised, as she confirmed: “I expected everything. Only not with that …” After the first shock there was of course an answer, Hambüchen continues: “First her eyes got wet – then she said yes. It was just a magical moment that for me is like nothing.”
Hambüchen and Feldbusch are said to have met during CrossFit training. They only made their relationship public last year. Even then, Hambüchen enthused that he felt “arrived” at Feldbusch and she made him “very happy”.
