The nice thing about a fairy tale is that in the end everything will be fine – no matter how many witches, wolves, stepmothers and mothers-in-law are working on a different outcome in the meantime. The fairy tale that Elizabeth Holmes lived for almost 15 years is an exception in this respect: a child from a good family who drops out of studies, rises with her company to become the youngest self-made billionaire in the world and already as the legitimate heiress of Apple founder Steve Jobs is applicable. But instead of going to Tech-Olympus, she ends up in court. The trial begins this Tuesday in San José, California, and the allegation is multiple fraud.
