Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has been sharply criticized by a former teammate. The former FC Bayern player continues to work for Zenit St. Petersburg despite the attacks on his home country Ukraine.
“Tolya, how can that be? You come from Ukraine. How can you remain silent and continue working there?” wrote Yevgen Levchenko in an open letter to his long-time companion.
Tymoshchuk has been an assistant coach at Zenit since 2016
