The search was huge, and the police announced another operation for the new week. Little Arian remains missing even after more than 20 days. What do we know about him?
Bremervörde – It is the third week since little Arian disappeared. And the police continue to grope in the dark. With each passing day the hope of seeing the boy again diminishes. The six-year-old ran out of his parents’ house in Elm, Bremervörde, on April 22nd, a Monday evening. A surveillance camera filmed him as he walked towards the forest with a stick.
The police immediately launched a large-scale search operation to find Arian, who was without a jacket or shoes. Theories such as that Arian ran into the water (the Oste river and ponds are nearby) and was possibly driven into the North Sea have so far come to nothing.
Theories and speculations about missing Arian from Elm, Bremervörde
Because Arian remains missing, there is now a lot of speculation. A pianist claims to have seen him in the forest about days after his disappearance. The PictureThe newspaper reported on May 13th about a hunting accident, and since then Arian has been said to be in the “care” of an unknown person. There is no confirmation for either version. Regardless, the police have announced a new search. The aim is to alert residents in towns along the Oste River. Doing a kind of “cleaning the doors,” as the officials call it. In addition, boats should search the East again.
A lot has become known about Arian in the past few days and weeks. By the police, parents and a family friend. A lot of things were lost in general reporting. We take a closer look again. Who is Ariana?
1. Missing Arian is autistic
Arian is an autistic child. “People with autism have difficulty assessing social and emotional signals and also have difficulty sending them out,” describes it Federal Association of Autism Germany eV This means that the police had to be particularly careful when searching for Arian. And thought about very special measures.
Because the autistic boy cannot speak and would probably not respond to calls from strangers, emergency services tried to lure the six-year-old boy out of his hiding place by using light signals, children’s songs, balloons and sweets. Audio recordings of the family are also used: in one recording, for example, the mother gives the six-year-old permission to go to the search forces. In another, the brother asked him to come and play with him. Arian doesn’t speak, but he maintains eye contact with his caregivers and essentially asks for permission to write Picture in addition.
At the beginning of the search, his parents spoke lovingly of how their son had “set out on a great adventure”. Arian is fascinated by sweets and pops, as well as water. Just on Saturday (May 11th) a four-year-old boy with autism disappeared from a playground in Rostock. Passers-by pulled him out of a pond. Water draws some autistic people are magicalis it[called

2. Arian moved happily and skillfully
Arian was a “sporty, skilful little boy” with a lot of energy who could cover long distances and climb well, according to a post from his parents that was made public by an acquaintance. The parents initially called on residents of the town of Elm and neighboring communities to help and asked them to regularly look in unusual places. These include high perches, attics or hiding places under tarpaulins and in garbage cans. The family has now asked a private search party to use sniffer dogs to look for Arian. The parents ask you to refrain from any further private searches so as not to scare Arian. The family has little concern about the sniffer dogs, also because the family owns a dog themselves.
3. Arian was able to open the front door
“The boy only recently learned how to open locked doors,” a police spokesman reported in the first days of the dramatic search. This is probably the reason why Arian was able to leave the house unnoticed by his parents. “The family’s front door is very modern and can be opened almost silently,” explained a family friend in the Facebook post. However, the father immediately recognized the seriousness of the situation and informed the police. This immediately initiated search measures. This is still the current status.

4. Arian’s favorite place and ritual
Children need structure and regularity. Aryan too. As the family acquaintance announced via Facebook, Arian liked to sit on the family stairs, the stairs were even “one of Arian’s favorite places”. In the evening, Arian, his brother and their parents would like to watch TV together: “It’s a family ritual, so to speak.” Arian is always full of energy and jumps and jumps around in front of the television. However, he always takes breaks on the stairs. Arian often “sits there by himself for a while before returning to the living room.” As the family acquaintance further reports, Arian’s parents regularly check on their child during this time.
On the evening of his disappearance, Arian also took a break on the stairs. When his father checked on him, the front door was already open.
