On Wednesday evening, the new season of “Das große Promibacken” started on Sat. 1.
Eight stars create all kinds of sweets and are rated by two masters of the trade after each round. There is a trophy and 10,000 euros for a good cause. The professionals had to nibble on the creations of TV blonde Evelyn Burdecki (33) for a long time.
Celebrities like actor Hardy Krüger jr stood with her. (53), comedian Faisal Kawusi (30), ex-boxer Sven Ottke (54) and actress Jenny Elvers (49) in the TV kitchen. All have been coached by pastry chefs beforehand. With Evelyn, however, everything went haywire.
Even the first task was a great challenge for the reality star. The candidates should bake their favorite recipe in two hours. Evelyn had chosen cheesecake. “It tastes best with my mother. We have already told her that she should earn money with it. ”If she had watched Mama better.

The recipe said “add egg yolks”, but Evelyn forgot to separate the yolks from the whites. Her excuse: “I couldn’t read my writing right now.” Time passed. When others were already putting their creations in the oven, the blonde just touched the quark cream and whined: “Oh my God, I can’t do that.”
Later the cake broke apart in its shape. The chatterbox tried to praise the work of the jury with flowery words. “This is a wonderful cheesecake with leaks on the sides, prepared imaginatively.” As expected, the taste test turned out negative. Confectioner Bettina “Betty” Schliephake-Burchardt (50) stated: “You tried hard, but the cake is definitely not through.”
In the second round Evelyn was completely on the hose. Franzbrötchen should be baked. Burdecki startled: “What is a Franzbrötchen? Is there a picture of it? ”This maneuver also went wrong. Evelyn didn’t like the quantities. The off-screen voice commented maliciously: “25 grams of flour does not mean pouring in everything that is still there.”

Meanwhile Evelyn was burning the butter in the pot. The only thing that helped her was gallows humor: “Such a crispy taste can’t do any harm.” In addition, a plastic filter charred on her stove. Evelyn answered: “That’s why it stank so much here.” The judges’ verdict was unequivocal. While confectioner Christian Hümbs (40) was still bravely chewing on the Franzbrötchen, his colleague said tough: “It is not baked through. Not raw either, but I wouldn’t like to finish it. “
When it was time to create something in round three that represented your own personality, Evelyn decided on a cake in the shape and color of lipstick. But she forgot to grease her baking pan. The dough stuck. Moderator Enie van de Meiklokjes (47) recommended: “I think it’s better to make it new.” That didn’t help much either.
In the end, Evelyn got the worst result and had to leave the show as the first candidate of the season. Her conclusion: “At least I can stir now.”
