The Evangelical Church in the Rhineland has discontinued the disciplinary proceedings against the former Munich Diakonie boss, for whom it is legally responsible. “No breach of official duty was proven,” said a spokesman on Monday at the request of the Evangelical Press Service in Düsseldorf. The accused, a 58-year-old theologian from the Rhenish Church, was spokesman for the board of the Diakonie Munich and Upper Bavaria until the beginning of October. According to the Diakonie supervisory board, he had been accused of “crossing borders”. The pastor was recalled by the Diakonie Munich and Upper Bavaria at the beginning of October.
