The European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced on Monday that it had started evaluating the use of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine against Covid-19 in 12-15 year olds, after authorization requests filed by the two companies for this age group in the EU and the US.
“The EMA will communicate the results of its assessment, expected in June unless further information is required,” the agency, based in Amsterdam (Netherlands), said in a statement.
