The station no longer has fishing. Europe 1 has announced its willingness to negotiate with the radio unions “a project of collective conventional rupture,” the Lagardère group station informed in a press release on Monday. According to
Satellifax, 40 positions are affected by these negotiations.

“The management of Europe 1 today brought together the trade unions to share their thoughts on the organization of the company,” the statement said. And to explain: “The work undertaken for two years on the grid of Europe 1 made it possible to stabilize the audiences but the annual deficit of the radio, accentuated by the health crisis, requires a reflection on the organization”.

The management informed the trade unions “of the opening of discussions with a view to negotiating a project for collective termination of the agreement”. “This approach, entirely based on voluntary service, aims to allow the company to reorganize without forced departures,” said the radio station.
