The next European Championship ticket phase begins: DFB fans have to be quick
The German opponents for the European Championship have been determined. Now national team fans can hope for tickets again. Those who have been to the stadium often have an advantage. But UEFA also still has remaining stock.
At 10 a.m. sharp, EM tickets will be available again Group games of the national soccer team.
Initially only the supporters of the DFB selection organized in the official fan club have access to it – and it also depends on the speed. But after the draw there are still other ways to be there at the European Championships in the stadium.
How many tickets are on the market and how much do they cost?
A total of just over a million tickets are now on sale. Each association receives exactly 10,000 tickets per game from UEFA. There are also 30,000 tickets for the national team fans for the three games against Scotland on June 14th in Munich, against Hungary on June 19th in Stuttgart and against Switzerland on June 23rd in Frankfurt. The cost per ticket in the group phase ranges from 30 to 200 euros. For the opening game between Germany and Scotland it is 50 to 600 euros.
Regardless of this quota, there are still some tickets available via the UEFA portal for all 51 games up to the final on July 14th in Berlin. These are the tickets that were not paid for in the first sales phase and go back into the big pot. UEFA does not say how many cards there are. According to dpa information, these are only remaining items. The vast majority of the 1.2 million cards from the first sales phase are gone.
Who can apply?
Only fans who are members of the official national team fan club, belong to one of the newly founded fan clubs or have registered for a tournament can apply for the DFB contingent. The registration deadlines for all three variants have expired. For the remaining UEFA tickets, online registration is sufficient, which is still possible now.
How does ticket allocation work?
Loyalty is worth it for DFB fans. Members with eleven bonus points for attending games in previous years have initial access until December 7th. With seven to ten bonus points you can order until December 11th, all other fans and those with tournament registration will then have until December 15th. There is a fixed amount of tickets for each slot, which are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
