The EU Commission wants to suspend import duties on all Ukrainian goods for a year. In addition, all anti-dumping and protective measures by the European Union against Ukrainian steel exports are to be lifted in order to support the country’s economy during the war with Russia, the Brussels authority said. Now the European Parliament and the EU countries still have to agree. Last year bilateral trade between the EU and Ukraine amounted to more than 52 billion euros. With Ukrainian shipping across the Black Sea now cut off by the Russian Navy, the EU is also supporting land transport of Ukrainian goods.
