Four men are on the run; they escaped from the Straubing District Hospital on Saturday evening. The police are searching for the criminals, but so far without success. The men, aged 27, 28 and 31, blackmailed their way out with an employee as a hostage. Bavaria’s Social Affairs Minister Ulrike Scharf (CSU) wants to prevent something like this from happening again.
