Israel: Weapons tunnel from Syria to Lebanon destroyed

Tunnels for arms smuggling to Israel’s enemies, the first thing everyone thinks of is the Gaza Strip. But Hezbollah in Lebanon also apparently dug such tunnels. One is now the target of the Israelis.
According to its own information, the Israeli army has a three and a half kilometer long Tunnels under the Syrian-Lebanese border destroyed. Warplanes bombed the tunnel near the Masnaa border crossing on Thursday, the army said.
The tunnel was so spacious that large quantities of weapons could be channeled through. The army emphasized that it also served as a storage room for war materials. The commander of Hezbollah Unit 4400, which was responsible for arms smuggling, Mohammed Jafar Katsir, had already been killed in the past few days.
According to the Lebanese army, there was also an Israeli attack at the Masnaa border crossing on Friday morning. The road to Syria, which is also important for refugees, was hit and the border crossing was closed. According to reports, people fled on foot towards Syria.
