When trying to climb an empty university building, a 22-year-old woman in Central Franconia fell and later died. The young woman and six acquaintances apparently wanted to climb onto the roof terrace of the house in Erlangen on Sunday night, the police said.
At around 2 a.m., the group attempted to climb up a partially dismantled emergency staircase attached to the exterior of the building. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the 22-year-old fell and fell about eight meters. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she reportedly died on Sunday morning.
