Louis Uncovers the Truth Behind His Father’s Attack

In the early hours of the morning, Léonore discovers Marc hard at work in the living room. Although she hoped for a quiet moment with her husband, Marc receives an urgent call, prompting him to leave. Léonore, concerned for his health after his recent hospital stay, reminds him to take it easy. Despite her worries, Marc insists on his need to go. Frustrated, Léonore expresses her disappointment, noting that it has been two months since they shared any intimacy. Feeling awkward, the journalist suggests putting off their conversation and quickly exits the scene.

Marc soon meets with Jean Berlou, an accountant at a health center, who believes that the attack on him is linked to social security fraud. Overwhelmed with anxiety, Jean urges Marc to destroy a USB drive that may contain incriminating information. While Marc tries to calm him, Jean insists on severing all ties, asking Marc to forget him entirely.

At Midi Libre, Marc confides in Marie-Sophie about the situation, yet she remains convinced that her own husband is involved in the attack. Complicating matters, Sohan believes they had an affair, and in a fit of concern, Marie-Sophie considers going to the police. However, Marc opposes this idea, as he fears it would reveal his secret kiss with Léonor.

Meanwhile, Sohan is seen tailing Léonor to a parking lot. After he intentionally damages her car, he buys her flowers and waits for her return. Upon her arrival, he apologizes and offers to cover the repair costs, which she accepts graciously.

In a separate storyline, Jean Berlou reaches out to Elisabeth, voicing his fears of retaliation from the Laumière family after leaking information to the press. Despite Elisabeth’s reassurances that there’s no direct link between the attack on Marc and his leak, Jean is still anxious. He contemplates going to the police but ultimately decides against it under Elisabeth’s advice, aiming to protect his job instead.

Simultaneously, Maeva stumbles upon a troubling discovery on her computer: Lenny Vasquez has plagiarized her artwork for his new collection. The twist? Maeva had only shared her creations with Louis. Realizing Lenny was the intruder who broke into their home to steal her work, Louis quickly alerts his father about the shocking theft.

Evan and Chloé Embrace a New Chapter

Chloé has given the matter considerable thought. She believes Evan should accept the role of department head in Nice, and she plans to follow him there. Chloé is convinced that this fresh start is the best opportunity for their relationship, so she intends to request a transfer and find a new home in Nice.

Once at the hospital, Evan contacts Ludivine Kléber to inform her of his decision to accept the new position.

The doctor then approaches the director of Montpellier hospital to discuss his resignation. Although this creates complications for the director, she agrees to allow him to shorten his notice period to just one week.

Meanwhile, Chloé shares her decision to move with Cécile. Although she acknowledges the risks of making such a sudden change, Judge Alphand can see that her friend is happier and more optimistic. She expresses how much she will miss Chloé.

Later on, Evan informs Chloé that he secured the position and will start next week, prompting her to request her transfer immediately.

As the day concludes, Evan and Chloé break the news to Robin about their impending move to Nice. When he questions what this means for him, they offer him the choice to join them or remain in Montpellier. However, Robin is reluctant to change universities, and his parents assure him they will support his decision.
