English sweets, you know? We present to you the best… and the worst

We often talk badly about English gastronomy… But did you know that a large part of it is made up of sweets? In every English, Irish or Scottish grocery store, you will find entire shelves filled with sweets. Ten years ago, the Franco-English Maxime Tait made a bet: that of importing this culture into France, by creating Q & K Confiserie, a chain of shops (Angers, Nantes, Rennes, Tours, Paris) specializing in the sale of typically British sweets.

On the occasion of this tenth anniversary, we asked Maxime what he did best and worst. For him, Jelly babies, Fruit jellies and Jelly beans are the tastiest. While salty licorice, Cherry lips and ultra-sour and very pungent balls would be the most… special English sweets.

Good tasting !
