An employee of a flower shop was killed in Lichtenfels in Upper Franconia. As the police and prosecutors reported on Saturday, walkers discovered the 50-year-old’s body on Friday evening. The perpetrator or perpetrators have fled and are not yet known.
Passers-by discovered that around 9 p.m., well after the shop closed, everything outside was still set up and the front door was unlocked. So they looked and found the dead body on the ground. Alerted police officers then found that the woman had been killed. An immediate manhunt with a variety of forces was unsuccessful.
Police are looking for two women who entered the store just before 6 p.m. as witnesses. In addition, a man and another person were in the area of the crime scene, it said. The Kripo hoped that witnesses could provide further information about the crime or the wanted person.
