Emmanuel Macron will receive the parliamentarians of the majority on Tuesday

After the motions, the meetings. President Emmanuel Macron will receive the deputies and senators of the majority on Tuesday evening, after meeting in the morning with Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne and the leaders of the majority, the Elysée announced on Monday evening.

The Head of State will also have lunch at 1 p.m. with Yaël Braun-Pivet and Gérard Larcher, respectively presidents of the National Assembly and the Senate, also specified the presidency.

At 9 a.m., it will bring together Elisabeth Borne and several ministers in a restricted format, including those on the front line in pension reform, Bruno Le Maire (Economy), Olivier Dussopt (Labour), Gabriel Attal (Public Accounts), as well as the government spokesman Olivier Véran, the leaders of the majority parties and parliamentary groups. Yaël Braun-Pivet (Renaissance) is also invited.

These meetings come after a rejection, by only nine votes, of a motion of censure aimed at bringing down the government, a rejection which led to the adoption of the pension reform by Parliament.
