Elon Musk spoke at Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference where he outlined his goals for Twitter in payments.
Musk said at the conference that it was possible for Twitter to become “the largest financial institution in the world,” part of his grand vision of making Twitter “everything app.”
He also said at the conference that 800,000 accounts publishing child sex abuse material in February had been suspended. This is a good step towards making Twitter a better platform.
Earlier, Twitter had started applying for a license to enter the payments business in the United States.
