El-Medhi Lemaanni, an En Marche activist since 2016, is proposing his candidacy in the 7th constituency of Val-de-Marne. However, Together, the party of the presidential majority, did not favor this candidacy, preferring Roxana Maracineanu. The dissident candidate explains his decision by invoking the need for the constituency to present to the National Assembly a deputy living in Val-de-Marne. He accuses the former minister in charge of sports of putting her “personal interests” ahead of her ideas and convictions in order to be able to “exist politically”. El-Medhi Lemaanni nevertheless recalls his commitment to President Emmanuel Macron, to whom he wishes to bring a legislative majority.
