The date for the first meeting of the “concerted action” announced by Chancellor Scholz has now been set. What will the discussions be about?
The “concerted action” announced by Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) with representatives of employers and employees is to start on July 4th with a first meeting.
This was reported by the news portal “The Pioneer” (Wednesday), citing government circles. This was confirmed to the German Press Agency in government circles.
According to the report, eight participants each come from trade unions and employers, and the Deutsche Bundesbank and the German Council of Economic Experts are also present to assess overall economic development.
Scholz had announced that he wanted to call together representatives of employees and employers for a “concerted action” – it should be discussed how the price development should be dealt with. Inflation in Germany is at a high level, mainly due to higher energy prices.
