The Swedish company Jetson Aero has presented a new type of multicopter, the Jetson One.

The Jetson One is just 2 meters long and offers space for one person. With its aluminum-carbon frame and 8 rotors, it weighs 86 kilos and is reminiscent of an off-road vehicle or a quad in the air. The association is no coincidence, the frame was inspired by the safety cells of racing cars.
The manufacturer wants to change the way we travel. The multicopter has a top speed of 102 km / h, but it only has a battery life of 15 to 20 minutes, which means a range of between 25 and 30 kilometers.
12 Jetson One are expected to be delivered at the beginning of 2022. For the next batch in 2023, 3 copies can still be pre-ordered, for around € 79,000.
Conclusion: The low battery life and the high price suggest that the Jetson One will remain a kind of gimmick for the bigger wallet for the time being.
