During a school trip with her students, a teacher discovers 1.4 kg of cocaine

In the magnificent coves of Marseille, you can find shellfish, beautiful fish and… Cocaine. A teacher on a school trip to a cove in Marseille discovered a bag containing white powder this Wednesday. The latter turned out to be cocaine, according to police sources this Friday.

This bag was on the beach of the spectacular Calanque de Sormiou, in the heart of the Calanques National Park, which is located at the gates of the 2nd largest city in France. When the police were notified, checks were carried out, confirming that it was indeed drugs, 1.4 kg of cocaine, according to these sources.

An investigation is underway but is only in its early stages. Did this bag arrive by sea? Was it forgotten or poorly hidden? Certain neighborhoods of Marseille are undermined by drug trafficking which poisons the daily life of residents and causes violence. Since January, 17 people have died in narchomicides, including recently a teenager aged just 15.
