Mauricio JimenezSpanish mayor, wants to steer stag parties into civilized channels. In the seaside resort of Platja d’Aro, people will no longer be allowed to walk through the streets with inflatable sex dolls or in underwear. The ban is part of the new rules that the Catalan municipality on the Costa Brava has adopted to curb the excesses of party tourism. Fines of between 300 and 1500 euros are planned for violations. “It is not about banning stag parties, we cannot do that. What we can do, however, is prohibit, regulate and sanction the behavior that provokes disturbances in public spaces,” Mauricio Jiménez told the newspaper The Periodical.

Ben Marshalldirector of a British nature reserve, has found an amazing surprise egg. As the BBC reportsflamingo Gertrude laid her first egg at the ripe old age of 70. According to Marshall, she has had “unlucky love” her whole life. According to him, flamingos live to around 40 years old, and Gertrude’s old age alone is unusual. Even if the egg is not fertile, it is great for the old lady to be able to “show off these natural qualities”. Even without her own offspring, she has always acted as a caring aunt in the flock of flamingos. There are just over 65 flamingos living in the Pensthorpe Nature Reserve near Fakenham, Norfolk.
