Drüggelter Chapel: What’s behind it – Travel

The Drüggelter Chapel is not large, but it has a lot to offer. The twelve-sided building on the Möhnesee in the Sauerland measures just eleven meters in diameter. Nevertheless, it is “one of the most remarkable works from the beginnings of German culture,” according to the Prussian architect, monument conservator and town planner Karl Friedrich Schinkel, who built several churches himself.
