A 14-year-old is said to have stabbed a man in Dortmund with a knife on Halloween evening. The teenager first threw eggs with two other young people in the Dorstfeld district on Sunday, the police reported on Tuesday.
Residents confronts young people and becomes victims
A local resident asked the trio to stop and followed them. The 14-year-old then stabbed the 38-year-old with a knife, the police reported. Then he fled with the other young people.
According to the information, residents heard the injured person’s calls for help and alerted the rescue service. The 38-year-old was taken to a hospital and operated on. On the same evening, the 14-year-old suspect from Dortmund turned himself in to the police. He is now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm.
