Dogs: Why small animals are more aggressive – Knowledge

The bigger the dog, the more good-natured, and the smaller, the more aggressive? What’s up with the cliché.

Little dogs don’t have it easy. While large animals calmly trot by, some tiny creatures almost hang themselves on their leashes because they clamor so violently and want to run towards the physically superior conspecifics. Perhaps it is also because of such scenes that small dogs are referred to as “foot horns” or “barkers” and are generally considered more aggressive than larger ones. Is that just a cliché?
