Documentary “Hunger for Gold” about eating disorders in top-class sports – media

From

Cornelius Pollmer

This film begins with a monstrosity, and it hits the viewer just as unexpectedly as it must have hit the biathlete Miriam Neureuther at the time. It starts off quietly at first, but is immediately threatening: Neureuther, wearing a headlamp, glides through the darkness on skis, then introduces herself from the off. Sport was her life, she did everything for him – but now she wants to break her silence.
