In the first half of 2022, the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) approved applications from municipalities, companies and private customers from the Munich district amounting to more than 240 million euros. This was announced by the SPD member of the Bundestag responsible for the district of Munich, Michael Schrodi from Olching. According to this, companies receive subsidies of almost 60 million euros in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energies. This sum is exceeded by private funding applications with a total of just over 91 million euros.
