Diespeck – with five per thousand in the car – Bavaria

The breath alcohol test of a 61-year-old car driver in Diespeck in Central Franconia showed five per thousand. The woman was stopped at a traffic control in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch, where the officials noticed the smell of alcohol in the car. As the police announced on Sunday, the woman showed no signs of failure despite this high alcohol level. More than three per thousand are generally considered to be life-threatening. The police pointed out that the test result is a preliminary value that must be confirmed by a blood sample for the criminal proceedings. A major deviation is not expected, however.
