DFB and “One Love”: The fall triggers outrage – sport

The day after the fall, there were unprecedented reactions from the German Football Association (DFB). The Federal Minister of the Interior, Nancy Faeser, said she regretted that the association had “bowed down” to the world association Fifa. The food company Rewe even announced that it was ending its cooperation with the DFB immediately and waiving its advertising rights for the World Cup. Admittedly, this step was less revolutionary than it appears at first glance – the contract should not be extended anyway. But it was a sign that reflected the mood in Germany. You don’t want to have anything to do with this DFB anymore.
