Sunshine – but also rain and thunderstorms: The weather in Germany will be unstable at the weekend. The new week also starts changeable.

The week ends changeable with little sun and lots of clouds. On Sunday, the weather in Germany is divided into three, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday in Offenbach.

The people from North Rhine-Westphalia to the Berlin area can therefore expect a mix of sun and clouds. It will be cloudy south of the Danube. Showers and thunderstorms are therefore expected. In between, it will be overcast and rainy in a strip from Saarland to northern Bavaria and Saxony.

The maximum values are between 12 and 18 degrees. A moderate wind will blow, especially on the coast with strong gusts. During the night of Monday there will be rain in some areas, although it will remain rather dry in the north and east. The temperatures drop to eight to three degrees.

According to the DWD, the new week also begins changeably. On Monday, showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, especially in the west, while the sun will shine longer on the coasts and in the adjacent inland. The maximum values are between 12 and 17 degrees. Light frost is possible in the north on Tuesday night.

The weather will be similarly changeable on Tuesday. It will remain dry in the northern half, while individual showers and thunderstorms are expected south of the Main and Moselle. There can be frost at night, especially in the northern half.
