They become a priority in the vaccination campaign against Covid-19. “Slots” will be “dedicated” from this weekend to inoculate teachers, police officers and gendarmes over 55, as well as several other professions particularly exposed, announced this Thursday Jean Castex during a trip to a center of vaccination in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, in the Yvelines.

This measure will therefore concern teachers in schools, colleges and high schools, early childhood professionals, police and gendarmes, prison supervisors, specialist nursery school officers (Atsem) and AESH (accompanying children with disabilities. ), or in all about 400,000 people, said the head of government. Several centers in the national territory will be affected by this initiative, which will be “proposed at least for the next two weeks, ”announces Jean Castex. They may receive injections of AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Moderna.

A message from the ministry

The people concerned will receive a message from their ministry, with the list of centers where they can go. They will then be able to go there during the time slots announced to be vaccinated, with proof: professional card, sworn statement, pay slip … At the same time, the Ministry of Labor will consider in the coming days whether or not to include d other professions in this accelerated vaccination system.

Since Monday, vaccination has been extended to all people over 55, who can make an appointment with their doctor or in a pharmacy for an AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson injection, of which France must receive a first delivery of 200,000 doses this week.
