Death of Aymen, 14-year-old teenager killed after France-Morocco in Montpellier: the driver actively sought

This Thursday evening, the man who drove the Citroën C4 at the origin of the tragedy which occurred the day before, around 10:30 p.m. after the end of the match between France and Morocco had still not been arrested.

However, investigators said they had moved quickly to determine his identity. Several of the young people who were there during the shock, and other witnesses, indeed assured that they recognized the individual as a resident of the neighborhood. “These people, we know where they hang out”, indicates one of them.

Shortly after the car overturned and rolled on Aymen at the crossroads of the halls of La Mosson, it was indeed found a little further towards the Jupiter residence. A scuffle would also have broken out nearby between two men and part of the group.

Also according to some testimonies, the vehicle had two people on board and would have made several passes in front of the shops on Avenue de Barcelona in order to taunt the Moroccan supporters.

During the last passage, the Citroën C4 would have found itself blocked at the traffic light by another vehicle and its driver would therefore have chosen to turn around on the tram tracks, despite the bollards on the ground and, above all, the group of young people.
