France Blue Provence is always visible on social networks. Shot in a city in the 10th arrondissement, in the southern districts of Marseille, she boasts “the warm welcome” reserved every day of the week, from 11 am to 2 am, to customers at the point of deal. On rap music, she displays the merchandise and gives Snapchat and other links to contact sellers. Even more, the clip ends with a (fake) execution in settlement mode.
“A feeling of total helplessness”
“We could almost laugh about it but these delinquents are holding the inhabitants of these neighborhoods hostage and literally rotting the lives of many Marseillais”, reacted on Twitter the deputy of Bouches-du-Rhône Alexandra Louis (LREM), adding: “We must ruin the business of these traffickers! “
Asked by our colleagues from France Bleu, the president of the neighborhood interest committees of the 10th arrondissement denounces “a feeling of total powerlessness” and worries that drug trafficking “is emerging in neighborhoods which were relatively untouched”.
