Sarah Ferguson can hardly put into words her joy about her third grandchild and feels once again in “grandma heaven”.

The now officially confirmed news of Princess Eugenie’s (32) pregnancy not only enchants the supporters of the British royal family. Eugenie’s mother Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson (63), who has almost certainly known about the great news for a while, has now expressed her irrepressible joy about the upcoming addition to the family via her official Instagram account.

To a picture showing her grandson August Philip Hawke Brooksbank (1) while happily romping around in a raincoat, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife (62) wrote: “Soon you will share your puddles of water, Augie! Outstanding news,” cheers “Fergie” and sees himself once again in “grandma heaven”. She is experiencing it for the third time this year – daughter Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi also gave her granddaughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi (1) in 2021.

Princess Eugenie had recently become a mother herself with a sweet snapshot on Instagram revealed. This shows her in the evening light on a paddock. Her son August is standing in front of her, embracing his mother with both arms and kissing her on the stomach. “We are very pleased to announce that our family will be growing this summer,” Princess Eugenie wrote about the photo taken by husband Jack Brooksbank (36).

It was implied

The baby news did not come as a surprise: rumors of a possible pregnancy were already circulating at the end of last year. While attending the traditional Christmas service at Westminster Abbey, paparazzi spotted the princess with a suspicious bulge under her coat.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank met in 2010 on a skiing holiday in Switzerland. Eight years later and shortly after Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41), the two said yes.
