The goal machine of SV Darmstadt 98 is running and has led the Hessians to the top of the table for the first time this season after the impressive 4-0 (4-0) against FC St. Pauli. With 35 goals in 14 games, the Darmstadt team is the strongest offensive team in the league. Phillip Tietz (6th), Braydon Manu (29th) and Luca Pfeiffer (39th and 41st) scored twice for the victory already secured in the first half.
“We were in a frenzy again, that is good for the team and gives security,” said coach Torsten Lieberknecht. However, the same number of points from Hamburg can move up to first place in the catch-up game against SV Sandhausen next Wednesday (6.30 p.m.).
Hamburger SV also celebrates a high victory
Hamburger SV, on the other hand, has expanded its impressive series to eleven games without defeat and is keeping up with the promotion places. With hits from Ludovit Reis (31st), Faride Alidou (45th), Sonny Kittel (65th / foul penalty) and Anssi Suhonen (87th), HSV Jahn beat Regensburg 4-1. After two defeats in a row, 1. FC Nürnberg ended its little negative run on Friday evening and celebrated a late success at 2-1 in Sandhausen with goals from Fabian Nürnberger (83rd) and Erik Shuranov (90th + 3). “Such a last-minute win is of course very, very good. It’s nice that we were able to help from the bench and turn the game around,” said Nürnberger goal scorer.
SC Paderborn remains undefeated in the seventh away game after the 0-0 win in Hanover and was thus able to successfully defend third place in the table. “The result is okay. I can live with that point,” said Paderborn coach Lukas Kwasniok.
