Dacia Spring in the test: What Germany’s cheapest e-car can do – Auto & Mobil

The difference could hardly be greater. Just a few hours after the Dacia Spring test car was delivered on a trailer, a rust-red monster parked threateningly behind the mini-SUV. A Ford Ranger, an American pick-up truck, well over five meters long and weighing more than three tons. The CO₂ emissions of this automotive anachronism are 247 grams per kilometer. That is more than a Porsche 911. For what occasions such a car is needed on the perfectly developed streets of the Munich bacon belt, probably not even its owner knows.
