Petershausen Mayor Marcel Fath (free voters) describes the new draft for the Bavarian state development program (LEP) as “thoughtless nonsense”, his colleague in Vierkirchen Harald Dirlenbach (SPD) even speaks of a “devastating verdict”. The LEP is an important instrument for controlling the spatial order and development of Bavaria – a future plan over 130 pages that regulates where things should go in terms of energy, culture, economy and space in the Free State. The aim is “to maintain and create equivalent living and working conditions in all parts of the country”.
