Dachau: Christmas lights despite the crisis – Dachau

Blackout, climate change, rising energy costs: In these times, both the city of Dachau and the citizens of the district are asking themselves whether Christmas lights are still up to date. Martina Riedl from Dachau has also given it a lot of thought.

An inflated Christmas moose leans against the patio window, a brightly colored Christmas tree stands above the raised bed, glowing candy canes hang above the garden grill and along the balcony, and fairy lights run under the roof: Martina Riedl’s Christmas house in the east of Dachau is a real eye-catcher. The 45-year-old wears a red sweater with white stars and loves to decorate at Christmas.
