Cyclists injured in accidents – Fürstenfeldbruck

Two cyclists were injured in accidents in Germering and Puchheim on Tuesday. Both times, according to a report by the Fürstenfeldbruck police, drivers were not paying attention. On Tuesday morning, a 40-year-old Germeringer wanted to cross the intersection of Augsburger Strasse and State Road 2544 on his racing bike. According to the police, he was driving on the bike lane according to regulations. A 52-year-old driver turned right without paying attention to the cyclist. After the collision, the 40-year-old complained of leg pain and was taken to the hospital.

Shortly before eight o’clock, a 53-year-old driver caused a collision with a 13-year-old student who was riding his bike on Bäumlstraße in Puchheim. At the crossing with Nordendstraße, the student wanted to turn left, but the Puchheim driver gave him the right of way. The boy was thrown onto the hood and suffered a bruise.
