The 27th edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards should take place on January 9, 2022. The award ceremony has now been postponed due to Corona.

The Critics’ Choice Awards were supposed to be presented on January 9, 2022. Nothing will come of that now, however, as the coronavirus pandemic is putting a spanner in the works of the event. As the Critics’ Choice Association announced in a statement on Wednesday (December 22nd), the 27th edition of the award ceremony will be postponed “after careful consideration and open discussions”.

It is “at this point in time the sensible and responsible decision” not to allow the Critics’ Choice Awards 2022 to take place. A new date has therefore not yet been set, but it is being worked on “eagerly” and the company is “in constant communication” with the Los Angeles County health authorities. The safety and health of everyone involved “continues to be the top priority”.
